5. Google API and YouTube Data Use

Vidzooka uses Google APIs only to provide the Google Sign-In, YouTube channel connection, YouTube channel read, and YouTube upload features requested by the user or organization.

5.1 Google Sign-In

For Google Sign-In, Vidzooka uses Google account identity information such as name, email address, and Google user ID to create or authenticate the Vidzooka account.

5.2 YouTube read-only access

Vidzooka uses YouTube read-only access to identify and display connected YouTube channels and basic channel information, including channel title, channel ID, thumbnail, subscriber count, total videos, and total views.

5.3 YouTube upload access

Vidzooka uses YouTube upload access only to upload videos that the user selects, creates, schedules, or approves inside Vidzooka to the user's connected YouTube channel. Vidzooka does not upload videos to a YouTube channel without user authorization or a user-initiated publishing workflow.

5.4 Limited Use statement

Vidzooka's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5.5 No sale or advertising use of Google user data

Vidzooka does not sell Google user data. Vidzooka does not use Google user data for advertising, ad targeting, creditworthiness, or unrelated profiling.

  • OAuth client configuration and refresh tokens are stored in encrypted form.
  • Passwords are hashed.
  • Sensitive credentials are securely managed using industry-standard security practices.
  • Access is limited based on user roles, organization membership, and authorization policies.
  • Vidzooka uses HTTPS, application authentication, access controls, audit logs, and operational security practices intended to protect user data.
  • No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; however, we work to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Vidzooka, maintain account and organization records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain audit and security logs.

YouTube OAuth tokens and connected channel data are retained while the channel remains connected or while needed for the authorized workflow. Video files and metadata are retained based on the organization's plan, user actions, storage settings, and operational requirements.

10. User Controls and Deletion Requests

Users may update certain account, organization, project, notification, and connected account settings inside Vidzooka. Users may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data by contacting support@vidzooka.com.

Users can disconnect a YouTube channel from Vidzooka from the channels or connected account area where available. Disconnecting a channel removes the active connection inside Vidzooka and prevents future YouTube actions through that connection. Users may also revoke Vidzooka or the applicable OAuth client's access from their Google Account permissions page.

11. International Processing

Vidzooka may process and store information in countries where we or our service providers operate. By using Vidzooka, users understand that information may be transferred to and processed outside their country of residence, subject to applicable law.
